Description
Develop the capability to understand, analyze, apply, improve, verify, and sustain Standardized Work in your workplace.
The LeanTPS™ Standardized Work Practitioner Program connects structured learning with practical workplace application. Work through the lessons and associated activities, use the application tools to examine an actual process, and develop a Practitioner Project supported by evidence.
Who the program is for
Team leaders, supervisors, continuous improvement practitioners, and others responsible for understanding and improving how work is performed.
Your learning resources
• Binder 0: Program Handbook
• Binder 1: Practitioner Manual
• Binder 2: Practitioner Workbook
• Binder 3: Forms and Templates
Follow the learning sequence through the Academy lessons, Practitioner Exercises, workbook activities, and project requirements. Use the Program Handbook to understand the development pathway and certification requirements.
What you will develop
Build your understanding and application of:
• Customer demand and Takt Time.
• Standardized Work Sequence and Standard Work-In-Process.
• Observation and analysis of actual operating conditions.
• Type I and Type II Standardized Work.
• Comparison of Standard Condition with Actual Condition.
• Abnormality identification and investigation.
• Improvement, results verification, and sustainment.
Your workplace application
Apply the methods to a real process. Establish the current condition, examine the work, identify opportunities for improvement, and verify the results of your countermeasures.
Develop your Practitioner Project to demonstrate how your analysis, decisions, and actions strengthen the operating conditions of Standardized Work.
Learning and access
Individual program access lasts 12 months. Delivery combines self-directed online learning with workplace application.
Save supported exercise and project responses to your account, return to your saved work, and continue from your last opened lesson.
Certification review
The initial Practitioner certification review and review of one corrective resubmission are included.
Practitioner certification requires the prescribed workplace application and supporting evidence, assessed through governed LeanTPS™ review under the Program Handbook. Purchase or course completion alone does not award certification.
Further development
The Facilitator Development pathway adds resources for supporting others through observation, questioning, reflection, and workplace application.
The Instructor Development pathway adds instructional preparation and available teaching resources. Facilitator and Instructor resources are offered through their respective packages.
Optional support
Additional coaching or workplace application support may be arranged separately.
